The Magic Box
There once was a boy called Frankie. He had a little sister called Olivia, she believed in magic, but her brother didn't. He was always begging her brother to let her be his assistant for magic. Her brother said okay. But then he slammed the door on her face. One day an old blind woman moved in to the house next to then. Olivia was always at hers. Then Olivia came to the blind woman's house and she wasn't there. There was a big box that said "a powerful trick that can even impress non believers. She took it home and showed her brother. He agreed to let his little sister to be his assistant. So they went out the garden, Olivia went inside the box, and Frankie tapped his wand on the box 3 times and opened up the box. Olivia wasn't inside it. He waited hours, days, and she was not there. So he put the box flat on the ground and lay in it. He fell asleep in seconds. Then he heard his sister saying "wake up lazy bones." She was there, he was delighted. they put the box back in the house and left. He told his sister that she disappeared but she denied it. maybe it was him that had disappeared?

Chapter1-The Dream Or Was It?
Max had a boring life. His mum and his dad were at work every school day, so he had to go to after school club. Even on the weekends they were working on their laptops. So, when max needed something, they were too busy to play like they used to. The after-school club was called Cass. One day, on a Friday when he was at Cass he saw a door. It wasn't any old door, it was a magical door, but Max didn't know that yet. He went in and it was dark... but he saw something move. It wasn't a person. It looked like an exceptionally large, hairy spider. And it was charging at him rapidly, he tried to run but it was too late. Then he woke up petrified in his bed. He couldn't move, he checked the time, it was 3am. So, he went back to sleep and in the morning, he said to himself, “is it a school day or a weekend?” Yes, it is a weekend! A few days passed and it was Friday again, so he went to Cass and the door was there, but on the other days he was at Cass the door was not there. He said to himself “it must only be a Friday the door is there”. So, he went in and he found a light swich. And when the light was on, he saw that the room was massive.
Chapter 2- Max Gets Found Out
The room was as big as his school hallway.
Then a teacher came in and gave Max a warning. The next Friday he didn’t dare go in that room. Then the Friday after that he snuck in. About ten seconds later the head teacher caught him again and suspended him. His mum and dad were so angry with him. He had to go to their office and sit there for 7 or 8 hours. Then he said to them about five hours through, “Can Nana pick me up and take me to hers?”, his parents said, “no you are here for a punishment”. When Max got home, he had to go to his room. One day when he was sick and tired of being stuck in his room, he decided he wanted to escape and sneak into the school and find out more about the room.
Chapter 3-The Investigation
When Max got to the school he went straight to Cass and into the room. After all it was a Friday. Then... he heard a bang. And he saw the spider that was in his dream. It didn’t see him at first but when he saw it, he screamed, “AHHHHHHHHHHHHH HELP ME”, but no one came to help. He still had hope. Then his best friend called Eli came to the rescue with a batt and beat the spider. It wasn't dead but at least it was knocked out. Max thought that it said something to him, that sounded like, “go before it consumes you as well”. The next day his suspension was over, and Eli and Max were talking about it all day. For example, when his teacher said to the class, “pick partners for a talk about the book we're reading, but pick someone that you won't mess about with, or I will have to pick for you”, Max and Eli looked at each other and grinned. The second Miss Lann said, “ok class get a partner and start”, Max and Eli ran to each other. The thing that is not surprising is they didn’t talk about the book, they talked about how and what happened yesterday.
Chapter 4-The End
At Cass they went to the door and tried to go in but it wasn’t a Friday, so the door wasn’t there. So, when it was Friday, they went in and the spider was waiting for them and the spider tried to kill them, but its plan backfired. And the spider was nowhere to be seen but they considered the spider dead. After that Max and Eli move to a different school and Max’s life went back to boring. And they wondered what adventures would come their way next...
